  5. The Hostess i/ES is a two-port high-performance synchronous intelligent
  6. controller designed for high-speed network connectivity in EISA-compatible PCs.
  7. It uses all the performance improvements of the EISA bus because of its 32-bit
  8. bus master design and Intel 82355 BMIC busmastering chipset. The Hostess i/ES
  9. features an on-board 12MHz NEC V53 processor with 128K of dual-ported RAM.
  10. Memory can be expanded to 8Mb via SIMM modules. It supports up to two
  11. synchronous ports at 1.1 megabits per second. The Hostess i/ES is available
  12. with a detached interface box with DB25 connectors.
